Easter is a BIG DEAL for Christ followers!  There is a good reason for it too… what happened on Easter is the reason we have hope in this life.  During the weeks leading up to Easter Sunday we are going to be studying the first four chapters in the book of Romans which will show us why good Friday and Easter Sunday had to happen.  If you are curious about God and Jesus, this is the perfect time to come and hear why we are all about Jesus and not about religion.  It’s a message of hope, freedom and love… and we all need more of that today!

YOU’RE INVITED!
Sunday Gatherings:
9:00am & 11:00am

NOTE: K!DS classes available during all gatherings.

WE TEACH THROUGH THE BIBLE:

Throughout the year we take a deep dive into specific books of the Bible on Sunday mornings and want you to make time during the week to do the same. Use this guide to help you each week in your own Bible reading and prayer times with God.

On this page you will find resources that will help you each week in you personal Bible reading and prayer times with God.

March – April 2023

Leading up to Easter, we are reading Romans chapters 1-5 and we want to give you a tool to read, pray and memorize scripture. Would you make a commitment to do what Jesus did?

Luke 5:16 – But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.

If Jesus needed to spend that time with his Heavenly Father, we certainly need it too!  Take 10-20min each day with a journal, your Bible and a prayer list.  Put it on the calendar and make it a priority.

S.O.A.P. is a simple method for reading and applying God’s word to our lives.  It stands for Scripture, Observation, Application and Prayer and involves four simple steps:

  1. Scripture – Read a short Bible passage out loud and/or write it out. Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you as you read and look for any specific words or phrases that stand out and write them down.
  2. Observation – What do you notice about the verses? What do you think the main message is? What verses, words or ideas jump out to you?
  3. Application – Ask God how he wants you to apply the verse to your own life.  What do you need to do today because of the passage?  How do you need to think differently?
  4. Prayer – Have a list of things you’re asking God to do for you or others.  Start by thanking God for things then move to requests.

You can choose your own scripture or reading plan or use the one provided for our Romans Series.
